PROVISION PROGRAM

The Provision Program:

The first thing we do is identify the client’s needs and provide our opinions of dogs that would be suitable for the client’s needs mentally and physically. We then find a reputable breeder from which to acquire a puppy.  Once we acquire the puppy (around 8-12 weeks of age) the training proccess is started.

Training Time Line:

  • There is a minimum of 18 months of training before we conduct the pairing process. This is base solely on the complexity of the case.
  • There is a minimum of 2 weeks of pairing process (The education of the handler with the dogs needs, mainly used for those who do not live in area and can not do bonding sessions)
  • Minimum of 6 months of team training to prepare for the team certification. This time line is based off of the complexity of the case. The team certification is a 3 or 5 day test. Each day can be up to 4 hours long. The duration is based on the high-risk environment or life-threating condition(s) of the handler.
